Open it#

Press D, or use the right rail's Browse markdown docs, ToolsMarkdown, or Open in Studio on a Markdown card.

The vault#

  • All .md, .markdown and .mdx files in the repo, skipping the same folders as the Code studio plus hidden folders, up to 2,000 files.
  • Agent memory, listed first, is Claude Code's memory folder for this project, for the account new consoles use.
  • Search files matches names and paths.
  • A file's menu has Open, Add to Board, Rename, Duplicate, Reveal in Finder and Move to Trash. + creates a file at the top of the repo, in docs, or in Agent memory.

Reading, Source and Graph#

Reading
The rendered note. Relative links to other .md files open inside the studio.
Source
The text, saved automatically a second and a half after you stop typing. The status says when it is saving, could not save, recovered unsaved edits or found a change on disk.
Graph
Every note and the links between them, described below.

Open files are re-read from disk every few seconds. With no unsaved edits, changes your agents make appear on their own; with edits in progress, the studio asks whether to reload or keep yours. Edits that were never saved come back after an unexpected quit.

The link graph#

  • Links come from [[wiki links]], including |alias and #heading forms, and from ordinary [text](file.md) links. Notes with no links show too.
  • Drag or scroll to pan, pinch or use the wheel to zoom, 0 fits every note. A spacing slider spreads the graph out.
  • Click a note to open it. Wiki links shape the graph but are not clickable in Reading.

Export and the board#

  • Export PDF uses the same layout as Documents, with images from the repo included.
  • Add to Board places a card that renders the file from disk and updates when it changes.
