Orchestrator cards
The command bar directs the whole board. An orchestrator card directs only the consoles wired to it, which is how several teams work side by side without their orders crossing.
Add a card#
- Right rail Insert orchestrator, or say
add an orchestratororadd an orchestrator for group 1. Cards added by command are named Orchestrator, Orchestrator 2 and so on, unless you give the card a name; every card added from the right rail is named Orchestrator. - Dev HQ, Sprint Room, Web Studio, Ship It and Briefed Squad come with one already wired; see Presets.
Wire consoles to it#
- Connect, then click consoles on the board or wire them from the card, and Done when finished. A whole group wires as one connection.
- An empty card says No agents wired and offers Spawn agent, which starts a console already wired to it.
- By command:
connect group 1 to the orchestrator.
What a card can do#
- Orders typed on the card reach only its consoles; its placeholder says how many. Mentioning a console that is not wired gets That mention is not connected to this orchestrator.
- Undo, redo and workspace commands work only from the main command bar.
- The card's header shows how many agents it directs and the group name, when it directs one group.
- The Mission Map draws each card with the groups and consoles it directs.
Row actions#
Hover a console's row on the card for Focus, then Pause, Resume or Restart, whichever fits its state, and Kill session while it runs or is paused. Killing takes two clicks and a macOS confirmation; the console stays on the board, marked done. Right-click the row for Restart session and Disconnect too.
