The Mission Map

The Mission Map shows the board as a chain of command: the command bar and the orchestrator cards, the groups they direct and every console in them, each with its live state.

Press X, or use the Mission Map chip in the open thread, ToolsMission Map, the right-click ring's More list, or say open mission map. Esc closes it.

Read it#

  • Three columns: the command bar and orchestrator cards, then groups, then consoles. Wires show who directs whom; a dashed Command bar only line marks the groups and loose consoles that no orchestrator card wires.
  • Filters: All, Working, Needs you (errors included), Idle (paused included) and Done.
  • Find a console or team matches names, and for consoles also the agent and the role.
  • Click to inspect, double-click to jump there on the board.

Inspect a console#

A console's inspector shows its status, what it is doing right now (the tool it runs, the question it asked or why it failed), how long it has been at it, its subagents and its task label. It offers Pause or Resume, Relaunch once its session has ended, and Kill, which takes a second click and then a confirmation while the session runs. A group's inspector shows its current or last task, and an orchestrator card's the last instruction it was given.

Where the states come from#

Needs you (a permission prompt or a question) comes from live agent status, which Claude Code and Codex consoles report; with it, a console that finished its turn counts as Idle. Done means the console's session has ended. Without live status, a live console counts as Working until it is paused or its session ends, and new output only lights a ring around its dot.
