Notes, kanban and calendar

Sticky notes and text#

• A sticky note comes from the Shapes tool. It opens ready to type, shrinks its letters as you write, from at most 20 points (about 18 on a new note) down to 11, and changes paper color when you click its folded corner. Double-click to edit it again.
• The Text tool drops a text box ready to type in. A text box you leave empty disappears when you click away.
• With text selected, the inspector offers eight fonts (Sketch, Clean, Serif, Rounded, Mono, Typewriter, Marker, Script), four sizes and alignment.
• From the command bar: add a note that says ship the beta on Friday.

Checklists#

• Insert one from Insert to-do›Checklist on the right rail, or from the right-click ring under More.
• Add an objective adds an item; a progress ring fills as you tick them.
• Clear done removes the ticked items without asking; ⌘Z brings them back.
• Double-click the title to rename the list.

Kanban boards#

Insert one from Insert to-do›Board (kanban) or say add a kanban. It starts with four columns: Backlog, To do, In progress and Done.

Columns

Each column's menu has Rename, Add card, a color (Amber, Sage, Sky, Violet, Rose, Teal), Sort by priority (with two or more cards), moves to the left, right, start or end, Clear done cards (when some are done) and Delete column, which asks first when the column holds cards.

Cards

A card has a title, notes, a due date (Today, Tomorrow, Next week or any date) and a priority (None, Low, Med, High). Drag cards between columns. A card's menu has Mark as done, Edit, Duplicate, Move to and Delete card.

Calendar#

• Insert one from Insert to-do›Calendar or say add a calendar. It shows a month, with Today and buttons for the previous and next month.
• New adds an event with a title, a day, all day or a time, notes and a color.
• Drag an event to another day to move it. Right-click it to edit, duplicate, recolor or delete it.

Notes and your agents#

These nodes are for you. Agents do not read them. To hand a plan to an agent, type or paste it into its console or give it as an order in the command bar.
