Presets
A preset is a layout of consoles, groups and helper tiles that lands on the board in one action. Symvibe ships 18 of them, and you can save the arrangement of any board.
The preset library#
Open it from the right rail's PresetsOpen the full library, from ToolsPresets, from Start from a preset on an empty board, or from New preset on the home screen.

Choose the agents#
The library's inspector shows each lane of the selected preset. Click a lane to cycle its agent, right-click it for the whole catalog, or use Fill every lane with to set them all at once. Lanes you leave alone run your default agent. A lane whose agent this version does not recognize runs Claude Code, and a lane whose agent you added yourself and later deleted opens a plain shell.
Deploy it#
- On a board
- Deploy lays the preset out on the current workspace.
- From the home screen
- Save preset arms it in the compose bar, where the preset pill shows its name; the preset menu lists it with its number of agents and teams. Nothing lands until you press Dispatch, and after one dispatch it is disarmed. Hover a saved preset to remove it.
Save your own layout#
PresetsSave current layout on the right rail saves the arrangement of the current board as Set 1, Set 2 and so on. Click one later to stamp it at the center of the view. Its menu has Delete preset, which does not ask.
Each node's kind, position, size, title, text and color, and each console's agent; consoles come back at the default size with a new name. It does not keep groups, wires, web addresses, images, card contents, shape styles or ink. Saved layouts belong to the app, not to one repo, even though the library shelf calls them Saved on this board.
